Pardon my igerance but I had no idea soap-carving ASMR was a "thing". So when you mentioned it, I was brought back to my youth, carving lambs and rabbits out of Ivory ("99 44/100% pure") (But pure WHAT?) Anyway, I did manage to pull one up and it wasn't quite what I expected. In fact, it made me a tad uncomfortable because it violated one of my Father's Main Rules -- "Never cut towards yourself". (Which rule probably became "Main" because, come to think of it, I actually DID cut myself twice while carving things in my youth.) Anyway, it would be very interesting if you did it as an actual video (so we could appreciate your manicure, haha!) PS I don't know anything about kinetic sand either, but I live very close to Connecticut and can get you some of their sand if you need it. (These are the jokes, folks. What is this, an audience or an oil painting?)
