It's only distracting because when I listen to ASMR, I do so at a very high volume. I have a lot of issues with the Patreon app -- the sound will turn off if I don't keep it front and center the whole time. When the sound cuts out this audio, it kept making me think Patreon flubbed it again lol =)

2018-10-23 15:55:09 +0000 UTCThere's a lot of feedback in the background of the audio, so when it goes to a silence (i.e. no audio at all), it's kind of awkward, because that background buzzing disappears too. I like the audio in general, and I switched to a less sensitive pair of headphones and it sounded nice.
