The creator struggle...

2022-04-27 21:39:36 +0000 UTCI think it's most important that you make what you want to make and feel good with. π So many creators change what they used to make and it does attract more people, but it feels like the creators themselves lose the drive they once had because they only take what other people want into account. I understand that you're worried about the youtube algorithm etc. But I think it's more important that people find you by the things that you like to do and that they stay because they like the content that makes you happy. And if people don't like it they can find someone else instead. You should always have fun creating what you want because otherwise I wouldn't enjoy watching/listening to your work as much π So do what makes you happy and the viewers will come eventually β‘

It's can be tough but no impossible. Or you could try sometimes making videos that bring in views and making videos your love doing back and forth.

2022-04-27 19:37:07 +0000 UTCI wish that there didn't have to be a distinction between what grows the channel and what you enjoy making but Youtube's algorithm issues are well documented. All I can say is that I think you should make yourself happy first. Maybe trying to find way to combine ideas that grow the channel with ideas that fulfill you creatively can help bridge the gap a little. Whatever you do, your content will always be appreciated by me at least.
