But now?
Ty Lee’s breath hitched, legs held firm. “H-How did you—?” she gasped, face flushed, eyes darting as he just smiled down at her like he had all the time in the world.
Katara’s bending dissolved into droplets as strong hands slid into her space, guiding her like a current too strong to fight. “Easy,” he murmured, “you bend water. I bend you.”
Azula thrashed, cursed, bit—but the more she fought, the tighter the hold, until her flames faded and her voice cracked with something that sounded too much like need.
They weren’t defeated.
Just… conquered.
