Taki Illustration (Poll Winner)
Added 2025-04-28 09:00:25 +0000 UTCCan't draw Ivy without Taki. I might as well ship the two. Taki is one of my mains on SC6, a rushdown pick if I get overwhelmed as Ivy or Sophie.
The process was a bit tricky cus' while the character has a simple design and there was plenty of references, it made it where I can only draw Taki one way. The challenge was to distinguish the piece from the rest of the fan arts of Taki.
A quick note on ninja characters, I think that they may look different but all just feel the same. The pose is literally referenced from Psylocke and I'd could easily use this pose on Kasumi and Strider and it would still feel like the character. It's one the reason why I wasn't feeling the piece despite me liking the character.
Overall a chill piece to work but I had to rush it cus' I was at a con this weekend. I needed to finish this before the month ended.
