Crisis on Infinite Earths thru Zero Hour is Live!!!

Well...it took a handful of months, but it's finally finished, the Crisis on Infinite Earths thru Zero Hour Reading Order is now live!!!

Reader/Binger tier patrons, if you would like a tracking column added, please message me or comment on this post and I will get it taken care of.

Viewer tier patrons, I also included an order only tab which displays only the reading order without tracking columns.

Next up on my list is the completion and posting of the Marvel NOW! Reading Order. I'll be out of town again Friday - Sunday, but I hope to get started on that sometime next week, so I can have it finished by mid-March.

May 2022 solicitations for Marvel and DC are also both out as of last week, so I will likely get those updated within the next couple of weeks as well.

After that, I'm on to Zero Hour thru Infinite Crisis which will likely take me another few months. Luckily everything post-Zero Hour started with a 0 month issue, so that should make it easy to identify all of the series to start with.

Thanks again for being a patron! I can honestly say that I never would have put together this reading order if it weren't for all of your support. I got into comics in the late 90s, so this is an entirely new era of DC for me to visit.

Have a wonderful rest of your week and weekend!

I generally keep it more by release order, especially when it comes to things like Zero Year in New 52 Batman. Generally I feel like flashbacks are meant to go at a certain time, so it's not necessary to separate it from everything that may reference it. Long Halloween and Dark Victory are a little harder because they're really out of continuity stories.

Hey Kurt. What are your thoughts on flashbacks when putting together these reading orders? I ask because, chronologically wouldn't stories like Batman/Robin/Batgirl: Year One and Long Halloween/Dark Victory show up at the beginning of the reading order as they highlight a lot of these heroes beginnings? Or are we viewing them when they occur chronologically according to publication date and viewing them more as "flashbacks?"

John Perrine

Thanks!

This is outstanding work - thank you so much.
