People just get mad at me when I talk about how I feel like building quality has been plummeting in recent history. Glad to see that someone else has noticed how awful and depressing these buildings are, and even better that it's been expressed more clearly and quantitatively than my vague feelings.

2022-10-19 13:07:35 +0000 UTCLiving in the province of Ontario in Canada. I pay rent that includes heat at my apartment. In spite of this my landlord has had the heat off for 3 days. I've complained to him (he's aware of the situation) but he won't act. It's 3 degrees above freezing outside and about the same temperature in my apartment currently. My only recourse if he doesn't want to turn the heat on this winter is a months-long battle at the Landlord and Tenant Board where I may be able to get a legal ruling insisting he turn the heat on. But that could take months. This is life for the working class in first-world Canada.
