Hype pakage: 2/5 package was too "explainy" and also didn't actually portray the story. The real story is Austin trulying to break bret, "joker/batman" style. But They made it seem like Bret was firmly bad and austin was firmly good, but them swaping was the point of the match. Do this basically spoiled it. Entrance :4/5 - simple compared to today, but that Glass shatter is iconic, the tunnel looks rad, and Bret being pissed he had to step through broken glass was great touch. Commentary: vince is there, he's as terrible at commentary as he is a human being. No comments. Match: 4/5 - pinicle of felling a story with wrestling and not with words(cough Roman reigns matches cough). Bret was driven out of his game plan of technical wrestling to brawling. So angry with austin, that he lowered himself to fighting like stone cold. And was so vicious he beat Austin at his own game. But he took it to far, leading into the finish. The finish: 5/5 - again iconic. The blood, the struggle in the sharpshooter. Stone cold fights out for a second but doesn't have the strength to escape, but also is such a badass that he refuses to quit, and passes out. He loses but also wins by getting the fans on his side and not giving Bret what he wants and saying "I give up". Making Bret lose it and the excellence of execution snaps and just want to hurt austin. One of the first double turns I know of and it was PERFECT. my number 1
