With each movie feeling like a widely different time, it brings a up a theory that I love about these movies. They are not so much a connected storyline but tales told about a man named Max. These are stories that are told by people living in the wasteland. Maybe Max real to them oraybe it's just a story but it's a story people tale to help them live.
