2024-05-28 18:41:33 +0000 UTCOctober of 2018 after Ashely Jenkins stopped appearing on the know I was looking for something to fill that hole so I typed “gaming” into apple podcasts and found a gamescast about red dead 2 and have been a daily listener ever since. I didn’t follow any other Rt content at the time and had never heard of anyone at kinda funny. It just happened to be at the top of the search list.

2024-05-27 16:24:28 +0000 UTCI used to be a big Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunter fan (RIP but also I stopped watching them years ago), so I just recognized Greg as the loud guy who likes to take his shirt off from the gauntlet and the times he's appeared on the RT podcasts. I started getting more interested in gaming news shows and then I saw KFGD on the front page of the RT website and gave it a shot. Nearly 5 years later, and I'm still a daily listener

Now I follow each of them independently and find them all so interesting and inspiring. Quarantine was really peak content creator discovery for me lol

2024-05-25 02:12:23 +0000 UTCI think I heard Greg or Tim on the podcast DLC, and then I found Gary Whitta from becoming obsessed with Animal Talking, and then after Last of Us pt 2 I watched every YouTube video I could find about it and then found and stayed with Kinda Funny. It felt so dense to enter, with so many inside jokes and podcast within a podcasts. By PS5 launch a few months later I was full-time best friend patron watching all shows. Being a WFH era best friend meant my mind was fucking blown when the spare bedroom launched, just crying into my hot wings and oreos.
