Hello Kaye and Gary! I am curious to know if either of you invert the Vertical, y-axis controls? Is your preference consistent for all video games, or are there some that you switch it up for? ALSO - are there really people who invert the Horizontal controls!? P.S. It would be great if Gwen could "drill" in the episode and let us know her preference too π Whenever she does that it CRACKS me up! No worries if not, just thought I would ask.

2025-10-24 18:31:49 +0000 UTCUnfilmable/general media question I've really started enjoying non U.S. horror more and more recently. Your 'The Wailings' and 'When Evil Lurks' and what not. Theres a fun unpredictability with not knowing other cultural touchstones and tropes and getting a perspective into what other people and places find spooky and where the commonalities lie. My question is though, and this maybe appeals more broadly to games and music as well but is there some under current there that is problematic? Exoticizing another culture just for the sake of itself? Is this a terminally online way to think about this? Where is the line with appreciation and just seeing it as novelty, does it matter? As a ranking and or less serious line of questioning. What do you think are the worst smelling areas in games? What seems like the most pleasant zone or world to set of a shack in? Keep doing what ya'll are doing best podcasting around!
