Death animations can be tricky. I personally love the physics of the more recent Rockstar games and they figured out the "enemies falling down" problem by giving you the change to an X cursor or retucule when they're dead. And this allows you to shoot guys in the leg and trip them and other cool stuff that physics engine allows.

I used Dominate in the Bad Luck Farmer quest to deescalate and when I got back to Mr Ox he was clearly upset, talking about how maybe the bad luck will take time to blossom. He still payed me, but it was funny him thinking he'd set up this clever literal wording outcome of placing "bad luck" on someone but being kinda bummed when it didn't happen and not wanting to say what he had wanted to happen.

It's such an international setting. It feels like the creators basically asked how this stuff would work everywhere and then wrote a shit ton of stuff about it. It's really neat. GB

It was cool to learn about the irl Tongs from this episode. To plus one your point about learning real life history being good from a social standpoint, I’d like to add that (in my and my friends’ experience) it’s one of the great joys of running and playing Vampire at the table. Whether it’s how immigrant communities band around each other in response to exclusion from white society in North America, the way a river cutting through a city can influence that area’s culture, or how the complex geo political nature of something like the Berlin Wall can shape society, it’s always fun to learn ways in which the history of your setting can influence Kindred politics in the modern nights. The Vampire setting in particular is helped from learning this history because some of your NPCs might have even been around when these historic events took place!
