This pose (4) of Ren is inspired by many Bob McKimson scs where Elmer Fudd tilts his head in sympathy for a dying Bugs Bunny.
Ren's acting is also influenced by Moe of the 3 Stooges when he feigns sympathy for Larry or Curly just before he smacks them.
