Changing my Patreon to charge up front

I am changing how my Patreon operates.
First, I would like to let you know that if you are reading this and you are already my Patron, I love you and this change will not affect you at all.
It will only affect new Patrons.
I have changed my Patreon page to charge up front for membership.
According to Patreon:
"Charge up front is an option for monthly creators that allows them to charge their patrons immediately upon pledging. We offer this option because once a patron pledges to a creator, they immediately have access to all posts available to the tier they pledged to. This includes posts made prior to their membership."
"Some Patrons have been able to become a patron of a monthly creator to check out the content, then delete their pledge before they are charged at the beginning of the month."
The reason I am doing this is due to the sensitive nature of some of my posts (read: NOOOODZ). I never wanted to give people "samples" of that type of content, especially when I have so much freely available content on my public social media pages. Yet, I have many people "checking out" my Patreon content and it honestly makes me feel taken advantage of and violated. I'm just trying to support myself and my family.
Henceforth, new patrons will be charged up-front for access to my Patreon content.
