Work on version 2 continues at a steady pace, and while a lot of back-end changes are happening that aren't easy to show off, one thing that I can show on the front-end is dark mode.
Dark mode has been a long requested feature in DiceCloud, with players often resorting to third party scripts to bring the brightness down, so they aren't glowing with digital light during dimly lit D&D sessions.
While dark mode will be off by default, it will be saved as a user setting, and once you have it set, you won't need to edit it again.
Adding a dark mode this early in the development cycle of version 2 means that all upcoming user interface elements will be built to support both the default theme and the dark theme from the start, ensuring a consistent experience throughout the app.
