Tier I Poll

I reacted to the pilot episode of "The Mandalorian" last August, and I always intended to continue with the whole show eventually. Since the second season was released, I've been spoiled a bit, so I'm anxious to start the reactions. π¬
When I pick a short series to react to in Tier I, I normally put the pilot reactions on hold, but since we still have quite a few to get through, I'm wondering if you wanted see a mix of both?
To refresh your memory, here are the pilots remaining from the last poll:
- Merlin
- The Boys
- A Series of Unfortunate Events
- Person of Interest
- The Expanse
- GLOW
- The Runaways
- What We Do in the Shadows
I'm good with either option in this poll, but I'd love to know your preference, if any. Poll is open through noon on Monday the 25th. Vote away! π

I thought "Broadchurch" was extremely well done, but for whatever reason, I just can't get into murder mysteries. I don't know why! It was the right call to not go forward with it; I did watch a few more episodes on my own and just kind of drifted away from it. π€·ββοΈ I had a few people suggest different episodes of "Black Mirror", since I reeeally didn't connect to the pilot episode (could not handle the pig plot) so maybe someday I'll have a look at one of those.

2021-01-16 02:48:21 +0000 UTCI'm super surprised at you not carrying on with either of those to be honest... 'Black Mirror' is amazing and the performances in 'Broadchurch' are fantastic from many of the cast.

Yes, if I enjoyed it, but also if I find the concept interesting, if I like the characters and/or the story being introduced, or if I'm curious to see how everything develops. I know pilots don't always necessarily represent what shows become, so I try to keep that in mind, too. Of the pilots I've seen so far, I've only passed on two of them, "Black Mirror" and "Broadchurch", as far as reacting to them was concerned. Everything else has been a Yes so far. :-)
