Yeah, I think it was a really fun episode in 'isolation', meaning if you don't think too much about the Flux stuff that came before it. 🤷♀️ They just didn't address most of it in favor of having this somewhat isolated time-loop special. I do hope they address the Flux fallout at some point!! The clock is ticking!

2022-01-05 03:47:39 +0000 UTCSo as I figured they tried to just gloss over the plot holes by Dan saying the Doctor saved the universe. So Chibnals bad writing leaves it up to us to fill in the blanks. Earth was the eye of the storm so whatever happened around Earth actually happened. So the death of all the ships in orbit. Another throw away line from the Daleks oh that was their battle fleet.... as apposed to their peace keeping fleet?! So the same could be said about the Sontarans and the Cybermen only the warrior fleets died. Finally we are going to rebuild the Tardis since most people really disliked this design. Oh nope..... it was just a plot device to create a timeloop. Apparently timeloops make the Doctor really bad at not getting killed. Chibnal thought it would make a character seem sweet and likable that hes storing all his ex's belongings in a storage shed with the start and end date of their relation ship...... I mean how respectful of other peoples property that he wouldnt just toss it all. This Dalek gatling gun is pretty cool though. Makes it so they can rapidly kill multiple people at once and the aim is really good.... Until its not we go from flawless aim to storm troopers whenever convenient. The Daleks always stop to talk and explain themselves though. Good thing they are so big on the ask first shoot later philosophy. Despite the flaws still kinda fun probably in the top 5 of Chibnal episodes for me.
