“How much will I be able to eat?”Rosalie asked Bella as she looked at the two dozen food trucks parked in the parking lot of a closed down J.C. Penny. Apparently this was part of a week long holiday event for Christmas that happened every year in Seattle. Along with the food trucks were stalls selling various items and a stage with a band playing holiday music. Rosalie had never been to a holiday fair before and found she liked the idea of being there with Bella. Even the large crowd and many looks she and her mate were getting didn’t bother her. She was proud to have Bella by her side. The only thing that would make it better was if they were holding hands.

“You can eat every bit of food at this festival and not feel any different than you do right now.”Bella told her.

“So I won’t get full?”Rosalie hoped not because she saw a lot of things she wanted to try.

Bella shook her head.”Your venom dissolves the food so it never reaches your stomach.”

“How is it possible?”Rosalie asked.

“I will tell you I just ask that you keep this information to yourself.”Bella said.

“Of course.”Now Rosalie was even more interested.

“I have magic and with that magic I am able to alter objects. In this case it’s the food you are going to eat.”Bella explained.

“Do you do a lot of things with magic?”Rosalie fully believed Bella had magic. It was the only way she could do her job. That and she had seen Bella pull the evidence against Edward and the fingerprint kit out of thin air.

“I am a magical being. Everything I do from breathing to talking is done with magic.”Bella told her.

“You are made of magic?”Rosalie asked.

“All holiday figures are made of magic.”Bella was the one made with the most magic.

“What do you mean holiday figures?”Rosalie had never heard of holiday figures before.

“To explain holiday figures I have to explained where I’m from and how I’m made. Once again I ask that you don’t repeat this information. It’s not something that we like mortals knowing.”Bella didn’t want the information spread around.

“Do the royals know?”Rosalie figured they had to.

“No, I’ve never told anyone before.”Bella never wanted to.

“In 4000 years you’ve never told anyone?”When Bella nodded Rosalie was even more flabbergasted.”I promise I won’t tell anyone.”

“I believe you.”Bella knew Rosalie was trustworthy.”For every holiday there is a supernatural being in charge of it. Be it a Santa in charge of Christmas or the Pumpkin King in charge of halloween each holiday has a figure head. We all reside in the Holiday Realm. Within the realm we each govern over our own land and subjects.”

“Are your subjects elves?”Rosalie asked.

“Yes but I don’t call them subjects. After I took over I abolished a lot of the laws the previous Santa put in place and started giving the elves pay and better work conditions. My land actually has a counsel that is elected that brings grievances, requests or ideas that the elves have to me and we work out a resolution together.”Bella was proud of how her kingdom was run.

“I take it that isn’t common with the other holiday figures.”Rosalie liked the fact that Bella took care of her subjects.

Bella shook her head.”Not at all. Abusing their subjects is something all of the other figures do. As matter of fact the Santa before me was such a tyrant that he only lasted a little over a year before the elves revolted and killed him and everyone he had in leadership positions.”

“They must really love you if you have been Santa for so long.”Rosalie couldn’t imagine how horrible the previous Santa must of been.

“They love me because I take care of them. Initially the elves were used to make toys, wrap presents and do grunt work. When I took over I set up classes to teach them how to read and write. Then as the years passed and society progressed I added to those classes and now we have many courses for the elves to choose from. I have also overhauled everything and set it up my kingdom like our own society separate from the rest of the Holiday Realm. We no longer have to rely on the other kingdoms for anything including money. Even though we still get a large percentage of all the holiday figure’s earnings.”Bella wasn’t going to decline the money because she didn’t think the other figures would use it for anything good.

“That’s amazing.”Rosalie was impressed with all Bella had done for her people.

“This year I actually convinced my boss to let me hire humans to wrap presents. We had a workforce of over 300 working all year round. I’m trying to take that job completely away from elves because I think it’s deeming for them but I haven’t gotten the approval for more workers.”Bella thought it was beneath an elf to wrap presents.

“How do you get your presents?”Rosalie asked.

“That coincides with the type of magic used to create me. I told you the values that were instilled in my being but the magic that was actually used in my creation is vast and powerful. I am actually the second most powerful being in the holiday realm. My boss being the only one more powerful. It's with that magic that I can travel though time.”Bella explained.

“What do you mean you can travel though time?”Rosalie was sure that’s not what Bella was saying.

“I wasn’t lying when I said I got your cars right from the factory. To get your convertible I traveled to 1971 and bought the car from a dealership. Then with magic I transported the car and myself back to the holiday realm to get it ready to be delivered to you.”Bella told her.

“So that’s how you got all of Carlisle’s father’s stuff and Jasper’s things.”Rosalie fully believed that Bella traveled though time.”How did you get my grandmother’s wedding ring and engagement ring?”

“I didn’t travel through time to get that. I broke into your parent’s house and stole it from your mother’s jewelry box. She actually reported the theft to the police.”Bella had thought it was funny at the time.

Rosalie laughed.”She must have been pissed. My mother was obsessed with those rings. Even though my grandmother left them to me in her will I knew that my mother would never give them to me. When I got them for Christmas that year I hadn’t even realized that I was yearning for a connection to my grandmother.”

“I have tried to fulfill all your greatest desires year after year. Even though you never wrote me a letter.”Bella told her.

“Why have you always been so good to me? I mean I know I’m not the greatest person but it never mattered to you. Even the year I was turned and killed those men I got the rings. Why didn’t you give up on me?”Rosalie never understood why Bella went above and beyond every Christmas for her. Even the years she didn’t deserve it.

“I’ve been watching you since you were a little girl. At first I saw you like just another regular child but then one year I found out that your mother had been burning the present I left for you.”Bella was cut off before she could continue.

“Is that why you started hiding my gifts in my closet every year?”Rosalie had been completely confused when she found the first present form Santa in years in a hat box in her closet.”That was also was the start of my mother not getting presents from you.”

“She didn’t deserve to be given anything after what she did. Also I knew she would never go in your closet because she felt that organizing and picking out clothes was your maid’s job. From then on I paid attention to you. I tried to make sure you got something that would make you happy. When I found out what happened with your turning I was enraged. I actually went to my boss and begged her to kill Carlisle. Once I tell what he has been up to she will likely regret telling me no.”Bella was sure she would.

“Wait if you can travel through time could you back and save me?”Rosalie asked hopefully.

Bella shook her head sadly.”I’m sorry I’m not allowed to alter events. That’s fate’s department and I am not powerful enough to go against an elder god.”

“It’s alright.”Rosalie knew it was a long shot.

“Knowing why Carlisle had turned you is the reason he stopped receiving gifts. I didn’t know what he and Edward tried to do with you because I had just ignored both their existence. I wish I had known because I would have reported them to Aro.”Bella would be making it up to Rosalie for decades to come.

“It’s not your fault. I could have told someone.”Rosalie had kind of ignored both of them as well and with how angry she was all the time they steered clear of her. Especially after the fourth time she attacked Edward.

“They will get what’s coming to them and soon.”Bella told her.

“What will your boss do?”Rosalie wanted to know what the pair’s punishment was going to be.

“I don’t know but she’s an elder god. That means she can ask her siblings for help.”Bella said.

“Good.”Rosalie was now happy she didn’t kill them.

“You said you wanted to talk to me in your letter. What about?”The whole point of Bella’s visit was to talk to Rosalie.

“I guess I should first ask. Do you know what vampire mates are?”Rosalie figured Bella did because she hung out with the royals.

“Of course the royals are three mated pairs.”Bella knew all about mated pairs.

“Good that’s good.”Rosalie deep a breath and let it out slowly.

“Are you alright?”Bella asked in concern.

Rosalie reached out took Bella’s hand in her own and looked at her sunglasses wishing she could see her eyes.”Bella you’re my mate.”

“What?”Bella was sure she heard wrong.

“When I looked at the picture you left on my phone I felt the mate bond snap into place. Seeing you in person reinforced it. I have no doubt that you are my mate.”Rosalie wasn’t sure what to make of the strange expression Bella was sporting.

“Really?”Bella wanted to make sure before she acted.

“Yes really.”Rosalie smiled brightly when Bella flung herself into her arms and held her tight.

“Rose this is so amazing!! No wonder I have been drawn to you all these years. Fate has been trying to push us together.”Bella now understood why Rosalie was so special to her.

“I’m so glad you’re happy about this.”Rosalie had been worried.

“Of course I’m happy. I have Rosalie Hale as a soulmate. Who wouldn’t be happy if they were me?!”Bella was the luckiest person in existence.

Rosalie laughed at how cute Bella was being.”I’m happy to.”

“This is so great. We should celebrate!!”Bella said.

“How do you want to celebrate?”Rosalie was more than willing to celebrate.

“Well usually after Christmas I write out a bunch of thank you cards then I spend a month at my beach house. How would you like to come with me this time. It has tons of amenities and all your needs and wants would be fulfilled no matter what you request. You can even invite your family if you want. It has 12 bedrooms so there is plenty of space.”Bella told her.

Rosalie thought about spending time at the beach house. It would be nice to go alone with Bella but she would have the chance in the future and her siblings might not.”Do you think we can invite Tanya, Irina and Kate as well?”

“Of course.”If that’s what Rosalie wanted Bella would allow it.

Rosalie kissed Bella softly savoring the feel of Bella’s warn lips. Rosalie smiled when she tasted peppermint.”Thank you.”

“It’s no problem. Now that we have a plan let’s go spend until they close the festival down or the trucks ruin out of food eating as much as we can.”Bella suggested.

“That sounds like a great idea.”Rosalie pulled out of their hug and held out her hand for a very willing Bella take. She couldn’t believe how everything turned out. All because she tried to drug Santa. Now Carlisle and Edward had been exposed and kicked out of the coven, Rosalie found her mate, gotten protection from the sun and mental gifts. If that wasn’t enough her mate accepted her with enthusiasm and had magic that made it so not only could she let vampires eat human food but had the ability to get anything she wanted. It didn’t matter the item. Rosalie discreetly reached her hand in her pocket and scratched her thigh trying to see if this was all real and not just a dream. Feeling a stab of pain and the cracking of her skin confirmed to Rosalie that yes this was real and she couldn’t be happier about it.
