“Where is Tanya?”Rosalie asked Emmet and Alice who were in the living room. Alice was stretched out on the couch with her feet on Emmett’s lap reading a book while he played video games. Rosalie had waited until Bella had gone to sleep to go home so she could talk to Tanya and if things went her way Carlisle as well. Bella had stayed awake through the whole movie and once it ended changed her clothes then went to bed where she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Rosalie was concerned about Bella not being caught up on sleep yet. She wanted to feel bad about Bella staying awake for the movie but she couldn’t. Not when Rosalie enjoyed the movie as much as she did. Victoria enjoyed it as well and both of them were looking forward to watching more movies with Bella in the future. Rosalie was also going to speak to Bella about buying her own tablet because Victoria was using Bella’s when Rosalie left and Rosalie wanted to be able to read the books Bella downloaded.

“She was upstairs in Bella’s room last time I heard.”Alice said.

“Alright.”Rosalie counted that as a stroke of luck because Tanya was already in a soundproof room.

“Be careful Carlisle is on the warpath.”Emmet told her.

“Why is he upset?”Rosalie had a feeling it was because of the money.

“Apparently someone stole a bunch of money out of each of his bank accounts. He has no clue who did it and is accusing everyone.”Emmet had to hold back a grin telling Rosalie that. He was well aware that Bella did it even if the human denied it. Not that he would be telling anyone that. He and Alice decided not to tell anyone other than the group who went shopping about the large deposits that showed up in their bank accounts. Deposits they didn’t think Edward and Esme got for some reason.

“Who would steal his money?”Rosalie like Emmett was holding back a grin.

Alice shrugged.”I don’t know but he is out for blood and slinging accusations.”

“Thank you for telling me. I’ll try to avoid him.”Rosalie really didn’t want to deal with an angry Carlisle.

“You’re welcome. Come hang out once you’re done with Tanya.”Alice wanted to speak to her sister.

“I will.”Rosalie lied. She had no intentions of sticking around after she had her talks. Making her way up the stairs Rosalie stopped then knocked on the doorframe of open door to Bella’s old room seeing Tanya sitting on the bed and Irina sitting in a chair.”Can I talk to you two?”

“Sure come on in. Is Bella alright?”Tanya didn’t think anything good happened if Rosalie had left Bella.

Rosalie walked into the room and closed the door behind her.”Bella is fine. She is sleeping with Victoria watching over her.”

“That’s good. Now why is it you aren’t with her?”Irina asked.

“I had a couple things I needed to talk to you two about. The first thing is simple. I want to officially ask permission to join the Denali coven.”Rosalie figured that she would get the easy stuff out of the way first.

“You seem to have beaten us to the punch. We were planning on speaking to you to offer you an official place in our coven.”Tanya wanted Rosalie in Alaska so Bella didn’t want stay with her mate instead of her mothers.

“Good. That is one less thing to worry about. Would you both help me break the news to Carlisle? Emmett and Alice said he is upset and I want to tell him tonight.”Rosalie didn’t want to wait.

Irina chuckled.”I think saying he is upset is putting it mildly.”

“The man has been accusing everyone of taking his money including Edward and Esme.”Tanya usually disapproved of Bella committing crimes but this time she approve whole heartily. The fact that Emmet and Alice didn’t mention the deposits and Bella didn’t give anything to Edward or Esme either made it so Carlisle would never know who was behind it or what they did with the money. Tanya made a mental note to ask Bella if she gave some to Jasper. Rosalie hadn’t mentioned getting anything either but it was obvious she had. Bella wouldn’t have left her out.

“He accused those two?”Rosalie didn’t think that Carlisle was capable of thinking badly of Edward and Esme.

“Oh yes. He said very nasty things to the pair of them. Edward stormed off a few hours ago after Carlisle was done with him and hasn’t come back. Esme was sobbing when she locked herself in her room in reaction to what he said to her.”Irina loved watching every second of Carlisle going off on the pair.

“She is a chaos demon.”Rosalie couldn’t wait to tell Bella and Victoria about Carlisle’s behavior.

”I think that is the perfect description for Bella.”Tanya could think of no better title for her daughter.

“You know she still claims to even me that she didn’t do it.”Rosalie lied. She wanted to plant a seed of doubt amongst the others of Bella’s guilt.

“No one else but her could have and would have done it. Something I can’t find it in myself to scold her about because you all deserved to have access to your coven’s money.”Irina told her.

“Scolding Bella is the other thing I want to talk to you about.”Rosalie was prepared for a hard conversation.

“What does scolding Bella have to do with anything?”Tanya asked.

“This morning before Esme showed up myself, Bella and Victoria were talking. Bella mentioned having to break the law to help a ghost and I reacted negatively to Bella doing it.”Rosalie was cut off by Irina.

“You were right to react negatively. Bella shouldn’t be breaking the law.”Irina didn’t approve of Bella committing crimes.

“I thought so to until Victoria told me off and shoved a lot of hard truths in my face. Truths that left me embarrassed and ashamed of the way I have been treating Bella and truths that will probably make you both feel the same way.”Rosalie would never be able to make it up to Bella for the way she treated her.

“What are these hard truths?”Tanya didn’t think she had done anything that would make her feel ashamed regarding Bella.

“First off is the fact that all of us have been judging Bella for her actions since met her.”Rosalie held up a hand to stop the women from talking.”Even if you don’t mean to you have been judging her. Proof of that is the way you lecture her, scold her and make her feel bad about things she has done and the things that she owns.”

“We aren’t trying to make her feel bad. We are trying to show her the difference between right and wrong.”Irina was teaching Bella values not judging her.

“See I was of the same opinion but Victoria pointed out something that none of us have done since we met Bella. Not one of us have asked Bella how she feels about committing the crimes. Crimes that she is forced to do or she is punished by the ghosts until she does them. None of us even took into consideration that Bella might not want to commit crimes at all. We just assumed that she was having fun breaking the law doing dangerous things and we all judged her on that false belief.”Rosalie could see by their expressions that Tanya and Irina felt the same way Rosalie did at the realization.

“Oh my god!”Irina felt horrible. It was true she had thought that Bella liked doing the things she was doing. She never even considered Bella wasn’t a willing participant. Irina stood, threw herself into Tanya’s arms and cried.

“Like you said we just assumed that Bella liked being in dangerous situations. She only said that she hated her gift. I thought that was because she was being visited so much by ghosts not because of what she was doing.”Tanya felt as horrible as Irina.

“That’s what I thought as well. I just thought that Bella’s severe depression was because she was visited all the time. I didn’t even think about the fact that Bella has told us more than once that if she doesn’t help the ghost they pester her until she does. Bella literally has no choice but to do what they say. Bella actually told me it makes sick her stomach when she does things like break into Ralph’s house and steal his belongings even with his permission. She told me she felt extremely guilty about accusing his wife of being an art thief. Bella hates having to break the law but has no other choice and when we sought her out all we did was judge her or brush off her feelings all together.”Rosalie was never going to assume with Bella again. She was going to ask the girl outright about things.

“How could we be so stupid? Bella must hate us. Here you have the three of us being vocal about our disapproval and Kate and Emmet who treat everything like a fun game. Always praising Bella for her actions. The poor girl probably felt so alone until she spoke to Victoria.”Tanya hated that she was wasn’t there for her daughter when Bella needed her.

“She and Victoria have a lot in common. I completely understand after talking to her why both she and I are mated to Bella. We both fit perfectly with the human.”Rosalie felt their relationship made complete sense.

“You are alright with Bella having a second mate?”Tanya expected Rosalie to fight it.

“Initially I wasn’t but then I got to spend time alone with Victoria and Bella. We got to have honest conversations with each other and after that I have come realize that Bella needs more than one mate. I couldn’t handle Bella by myself and Victoria couldn’t handle Bella by herself either. Bella needs both of us just as much as we both need her and after spending time together it’s obvious to me why the three of us were matched.”Rosalie told her.

“I look forward to speaking to Victoria.”Tanya was wary of the woman but if she had such an effect on Rosalie of all people she must be someone special.

Irina took a couple deep breaths to control her emotions. Once she had she sat up.”How do we make this up to Bella?”

“Bella doesn’t want you to make it up to her. All she wants is for you to stop judging her. She doesn’t even want you to bring it up. She just doesn’t need your disapproval hanging over her head.”Rosalie knew Bella wouldn’t want Tanya and Irina to talk to her about the topic.

“We have to do something.”Tanya couldn’t just ignore it.

“I think the best thing for you to do is actually ask Bella questions about what she has done. After thinking everything over I realized that none of us ask Bella about the event. We all just focus on the shocking parts of her stories. We don’t ask her things like why did the ghost make her do it, how did she feel when she did it and I think it would be good for all of us to ask Bella how does think she could do it safer next time. By asking her about the safety thing it shows that you support her and want to help her not get hurt.”Rosalie was planning on asking those questions.

“We can do that. I still don’t want her having guns though. Not with her suffering from extreme depression.”Tanya didn’t trust Bella with guns.

Irina felt sick just thinking about what Bella could do with a gun.”I don’t want her to have them either.”

“Leave the guns to me. I’ll talk to Victoria about it. I think Bella will react badly if you both demand to have them.”Rosalie was sure that she and Victoria could convince Bella to give up her guns.

“From what you told us she would definitely not react well to us asking.”Tanya agreed.

“I don’t understand if Bella feels this way then why has she been so open with accepting our bond with her?”Irina would think Bella would act oppositely.

“Bella’s parents aren’t that great. They don’t treat her well. Even when you guys were making her feel bad you treated Bella better than they do. Bella told me that it was easy to accept you because of how horrible her parents are to her.”Rosalie told her.

“That makes me feel even worse.”Tanya didn’t like that Bella picked them as the better of two bad options.

“Bella does have feelings for each of you. She told me that the feelings grow as the time passes. Bella really does see you as her mothers. She only refers to you as that. She never calls you your real names.”Rosalie was positive Bella saw the couple as her mothers.

Irina smiled hearing that.”I’m glad she feels that way.”

“She is excited to move to Alaska. I think that after Esme broke into her house she is afraid that they will ambush her while she is so close to them.”Rosalie feared the same thing.

“Fucking Esme.”Tanya hated that woman with a passion.

“We are going to talk to her father as soon as possible. We have all the proper paperwork ready for him to sign.”Irina wanted to go home as well. She wanted her daughter as far away from Esme as possible.

“Bella, Victoria and I talked about it and we think that Emmet and Alice are going to ask to join you as well. Bella said that she would only go along with it because she wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she prevented them from leaving Carlisle.”Rosalie smiled when Tanya laughed.

“She really hates him doesn’t she?”Tanya desperately wanted to know what Carlisle’s father told Bella to make her hate the man so much.

“The three of us believe that he wants Bella and Victoria for his coven because of Bella being able to make the shields and Victoria’s fighting ability. We think they are going to visit us in Alaska to try to convince Bella and Victoria to join them.”Rosalie thought they wouldn’t even wait a month to make their move.

“Of course he wants them. They are both individually powerful. Any coven would want them and we don’t even know what Victoria’s gift is. She just radiates power and danger when she is just standing there. My instincts and based on the way others react her tell us to flee as fast as we can when she is near. Then with what she did to Edward proves the woman is obviously a skilled warrior. Kate told me she didn’t think she could win a fight against her. Bella can do more as a human than most vampires can do. When she is turned she will be unstoppable and that’s just talking about her shield. Her ability to speak to ghosts has proven to be an advantage because the ghosts have better information than Alice about things and can spy on anyone without them knowing. The pair of them would give any coven they were a member of a huge advantage over others and with them that coven would be considered an actual threat to the Volturi.”Tanya knew that if it became well known what Bella and Victoria could do they would be offered all kinds of invitations from other covens.

“It’s to bad for everyone else that they pair of them aren’t big on fighting, killing or even hurting people. Victoria only knows how to fight because her original coven leader made them all train so they could protect themselves and each other. As to the killing and hurting people she was forced against her will to do that for centuries. She never wanted to and prefers to live a peaceful life. Neither of them have any ambition to be more powerful or to even use the power they have to do more than defend the coven.”Rosalie took from the pair that they would rather live on a secluded property and never have contact with anyone ever again. Rosalie personally thought that sounded like heaven.

“I think that’s a good thing because we don’t want to be involved in fights or disputes. That said if the three of them show up we will kick them off our property.”Irina wouldn’t let the three have access to Bella or Victoria.

“How to keep them from coming back is the problem. We will have to have a family meeting and brainstorm. Until then we all thought the same thing about Alice and Emmet. We were going to ask Bella what she thought before we agreed. Was there anything else you wanted to talk to us about?”Tanya had a lot of things to think about and consider based on her talk with Rosalie.

Rosalie shook her head.”That was all I had. Would you two mind coming with me now to deal with Carlisle?”

“That’s fine.”Tanya grabbed her phone and sent a message to Kate. She wanted her sister there to deal with any fighting. Tanya could take care of herself but Kate was the coven’s enforcer and took her job seriously.

“Did you guys make plans for tomorrow?”Irina wanted to spend time with Bella.

“Bella wants to finish up the stuff she needs to do for Ralph and Hank.”Rosalie was happy that Emmet dealt with the box of dog poop and all Bella needed to do was send it.

“It will be good to be done with both those things.”Tanya was hoping for a break in between ghosts showing up asking for help. Standing up Tanya made her way to the door and opened it.”Last time I saw Carlisle he was in his office.”

“I’m glad Edward isn’t here for this.”Rosalie had been afraid he would be and she would have to deal with him throwing a tantrum.

Kate rushed up to the trio as they were walking down the hall.”I am very excited for this.”

“You are the only one.”Irina was happy Rosalie was going to join the Denali so that Rosalie was with Bella she just didn’t want to deal with Carlisle.

“Everyone ready?”Tanya asked the group getting murmurs of agreements from everyone before knocking on the closed office door. Not even a second later the door was flung open and a very disheveled looking Carlisle opened the door.

“What is it?”Carlisle looked at the group noticing Rosalie was there.”Have you brought Rosalie to me because she is the one who stole my money?”

”I didn’t steal your money. I didn’t even know what happened until I came home a half an hour ago.”Rosalie was telling the truth. She didn’t steal Carlisle’s money. The thief gave it to her. Something Rosalie was thankful for after seeing how much she got. It was more than she thought Bella would give her but very appreciated. With the amount Rosalie got she could take care of herself for a long time. Especially if she invested some of the money. Bella mentioned that Rosalie was now beyond wealthier than Carlisle. Something Rosalie felt smug about.

“Then what do you want? I am busy talking to a hacker who is trying to find out who did it.”Carlisle wouldn’t rest until he got this money back. Whoever stole it took almost all of his net worth. Carlisle and his family were almost destitute and wouldn’t be able to survive long with only the amount he had left available.

“Rosalie needs to talk to you and asked us to join her to help her have the conversation with you.”Tanya wasn’t worried about any hacker Carlisle hired exposing Bella as the thief. Her daughter hacked the government without getting caught there was no way Bella would be sloppy when hacking bank accounts.

“I don’t have time for conversations right now.”Every wasted moment gave the thief more time to cover their tracks and Carlisle needed to catch them.

“Just say it Rosalie.”Kate was getting bored. She wanted to see the drama unfold.

“Fine. Carlisle I am officially leaving the Cullen coven.”Rosalie watch Carlisle carefully to make sure she could get away from him if he attacked. As he stood there staring at her his mouth open in shock not moving Rosalie wasn’t sure what to do. When she went to say more Carlisle shook off his stupor.

“That is unacceptable and I will not allow you to leave. As matter of fact I noticed you didn’t go to school today. I expect you to be there tomorrow. If not I am taking away your driving privileges.”Carlisle wouldn’t let Rosalie leave. Especially because of her mate bond to Bella. It was Carlisle’s only way of getting Bella and Victoria to be members of his coven.

“I wasn’t asking for permission. I am telling I am leaving the coven. Meaning you are no longer my coven leader and I don’t have to do anything you tell me to do. I just needed to make it official.”Rosalie wasn’t go to stay just because Carlisle said so.

“I told you I won’t allow it. I am your sire. You do as I say and I say you are not leaving this coven.”Carlisle couldn’t lose his chance because without the money that was stolen the coven was very vulnerable and with Jasper gone they had no way to protect themselves. They needed Bella’s shield and Victoria’s fighting ability to be able to survive. Carlisle also had plans to use the pair’s abilities to gain money and favors from other vampires in return for loaning the two women to them. He also wanted them before the Volturi got them. That being the reason he couldn’t complain to the kings about Tanya taking his coven member. If the royals got wind of the pair Carlisle would definitely lose his chance. Plus he couldn’t have the kings finding out about Edward’s crimes or they would force his son to be a guard member as punishment.

“I don’t want to fight. I said my peace and did the proper thing by coming to you my former coven leader and officially telling you I am leaving. There is nothing you can do or say to stop me. So good bye Carlisle.”Rosalie turned her back on Carlisle and started walking away. She made it three steps before the hallway was filled with the sounds of Carlisle screaming in pain. Looking back Rosalie saw Kate had Carlisle pinned to the ground using her gift on him.

“He lunged at you as soon as you turned around.”Tanya explained.”Kate stop.”

“I was just starting to have fun.”Kate grumbled.

Tanya waited until Carlisle got his bearings again before speaking.”Now that Rosalie has officially broken off from the Cullen coven she has officially joined the Denali coven. That means that if you target Rosalie it will be a declaration of war between our two covens. After all the shit you, Esme and Edward have pulled since we have gotten here not only myself but the others to include Victoria who is also an official member of the Denali coven would be more than happy to to fight you. Think about that the next time you get the idea to lay your hands on someone or before your mate tries to force my bond child to spend time with her. We have the law on our side Carlisle. Remember that.”

“You can’t steal my coven member!”Carlisle was frantically trying to to think of way to make Rosalie stay. He hated that Edward left because he would be a great help in coming up with plans.

“I’m not being stolen I am joining them under my own free will. Not like how I was forced to join the Cullens. Tanya actually gave me a choice unlike you who stole mine from me.”Rosalie felt like a giant cloud of stress, anger and depression had been lifted now that she was no longer a Cullen.

“I saved you!”Carlisle should have been worshiped by Rosalie and the other three he saved.

“You condemned me.”Rosalie corrected him.”None of that matters. I am finally free of you and I am going to spend the rest of my life being happy, doing whatever I want with no restrictions. That includes never going to school again.”

“You’ll be back because there is no way you will be able to live without my guidance. Your future is going to be filled with suffering while you are a member of the Denali’s.”Carlisle grunted when Kate kicked him in the side.

“I have been suffering here every day since you turned me. It wasn’t until I went on our trip did I actually feel happy. All because you weren’t there to dictate my every move. Anyway I’m staying at Bella’s but I will come back to pack and move all my things from this house and will make arrangements to get the rest of my stuff from storage later.”Rosalie didn’t actually have much in the way of personal items because with Esme going through her stuff constantly Rosalie never felt comfortable buying things. She had worried Esme would steal them.

“Remember my warning Carlisle. We have the law on our side.”Tanya was bluffing. She wouldn’t kill any of them. Tanya needed to talk to Bella to see if she could ask a ghost if they knew what Carlisle and Edward were up to and what their mindset was. Tanya didn’t think they would go to the kings because of the fact his coven was breaking up and Bella stole almost all of his money. That meant Carlisle had no protection and would likely worry Aro would take Edward.

“You won’t get away with this.”Carlisle just had to regroup and wait for Edward to come home. Carlisle knew his son would forgive him for what he said because Edward would understand how stressful the whole situation was. Then they could work to figure out how to get Rosalie back so they could convince Victoria and Bella that the Cullens were better than the Denali. It was true so it shouldn’t be to hard.

“I’m going to grab some things I don’t want to lose and head back to Bella’s.”Rosalie told the sisters.

“Have her call us in the morning so we can schedule a time to meet with her father.”Irina wanted it done as soon as possible so they could go home.

“He hasn’t been home since we came back so I don’t know if Bella knows where he is.”Rosalie was sure Bella could find him.

“We will work on that tomorrow. Just have her call us.”Tanya would track the man down if she had to.

“I will.”Rosalie said before making her way into her room. Entering she went into her closet and grabbed a suitcase. Looking around she only spotted a couple things she wanted to keep. Everything else she was going to leave behind. Even most of her clothing. When they went shopping Bella had encouraged her to buy clothing that was tailored to someone in her 20’s not the clothes that made her look like she was a young teenager like she usually bought. Rosalie found herself feeling a lot more comfortable and confident is the adult clothing and bought enough items to have the beginnings of a new wardrobe. Due to that she wasn’t going to wear her old clothes. All she planned to wear in the future was clothing that made her look like an adult and clothing she stole from Bella. Like the t-shirt she was currently wearing. After Victoria explained how their bond mate’s scent calmed a vampire down Bella had kindly offered to let Victoria and Rosalie wear her clothes whenever they wanted. Something that Rosalie immediately took advantage of and would do so many times in the future. Thinking of the future Rosalie smiled. She was officially a Denali and no longer a Cullen. It was just to bad that Bella was sleeping because Rosalie wanted to celebrate the good news with her.
