Love that I grew up here - on the other side of Lake Washington but have been on the beach for twenty years or more now, after some time around the world. Loved the Sound as it was so easy to reach from towns, but even the sound is nothing compared to the wide open Pacific Ocean, where I live now. Wonderful, beautiful state - this and Alaska will always be home to me. Unfortunately, I may have to leave home one day before long, as home has become the stanchion of stupidity in so many ways. The recent farce in Seattle still has me gob-smacked. Even right this second the anti whatevers are trying to block the mayor in city hall so she cannot leave and go home. Maturity, right? A city council member has keys to all the buildings and she is really turning up the heat. Yes, I love it here, and truly do not wish to leave, but needs as must needs, right? So glad you and the family were out having prepper fun! Did the kids catch anything? How about you? I'm likely to spend my time looking for shells to bring home and not really have any plan for them.
