Great job and well said. As for not carrying in no carry zones. I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Had a very similar situation at a small family diner recently where a gentleman was berating staff and acting very confrontational and no one said anything. I had enough and stood up and told him politely but directly “you are free to leave sir. And the staff here has been nothing but professional to you so you need to leave them alone.” He seems flabbergasted that someone stood up to him and left. The staff was very appreciative and ended up comping half our meal. Sheepdog for life. Just make sure you have the training and tools to back up your words because once a confrontation starts it’s up to the other party how it is going to proceed.
