I've always been a firm believer in not giving "toy" guns to children of any age. I did not want my child to ever think any kind of weapon is a toy. People, please consider this for your own children and grandchildren.

Also Excellent part about teaching the kids that they are not toys. When I was around eight years old we were vacationing in Chicago visiting my aunt and uncle near the southside of Chicago. I actually found a loaded snubnose revolver in the alley behind the house. My dad had always taught me the difference between a real gun and toy guns and how to handle them. That training probably save my life or somebody else’s life. You’re one of the only guys I’ve really heard talk about not just staying away from guns but teaching kids what they are ! very very important
