We have started to build “refuge buckets” (idea from TJ at Bear Independent). I’ve only got 3 at the moment, but it’s a work in progress. I definitely will help people where I can. We regularly donate to St. Vincent DePaul and also purchase items and place them in the local food pantry basket at the super market. During SHTF, I will be wary, helping those I recognize from the small community we live by. I like the idea of bartering, even labor for food but Opsec has to be maintained.

Your talk reminds me of the verse which mentions "entertained angels unaware" meaning the person may appear to be an ordinary person but is an actual angel, coming to see what you will do in that particular situation. Of course God already knows what you will do, but perhaps He wants YOU to know what you will do, and of course it will all come out on judgement day. I recently was led to purchase more rice and beans for those who failed to prepare, particularly my neighbors. I feel very happy about having done so. He will tell me with whom to share these things. (Now if only my body would allow me to get the groceries out of the car! Not doing well and prayers greatly appreciated.) Great video, Michael. Thank you.
