LOL you're just talking about deer season in the central north and the northeast ! Might be 30 or it might be 60 degrees. Might be rain, sleet, heat or snow !
But what you say is true. It could be real uncomfortable if you are not used to it ! Buying "The Things" doesn't make us experts, have to use them.

Cold, wet hands definitely take malfunction clearing to another level. Most trainers are going LE/MIL only these days. I've been training with some of them so long that they let me in classes anyway though. I also get the opportunity to run opfor in the shoot house for SWAT guys a few times a year. I learn a lot doing that. Between ammo shortages, cost, and most going LE only its getting harder to get into higher level classes.
