Because we are neighbors and have much the same natural and geographical situations, I'd like to know if you have determined how to use rain as your back-up water source, including for drinking. Have you investigated how to remove everything planes put in the air, deliberately or otherwise? All metals? Deliberate dispersion of virii and such? Rain is my only source, once what I have put away is gone. I could stretch it by using rain water only for laundry, personal hygiene, etc, and cook and drink and brush teeth with the stored water, but would even that use be safe for rain water?
