⚖️Cannibal October⚖️(Nameless) 14 pgs

CW: Blood

In celebrating the month of October, I'm continuing this train of discarded drafts/attempts on the long road to developing Cannibal October!

Halfway through the week! Hello again! I've returned here with another look at nameless comic, this time a version from 2021.

Something I noticed straight away was that the MC now has his prosthetics! Additionally, the feel of the comic has turned to put more emphasis on a "survival" theme. It looks to me like this was the point where I had found my interest in the more particular elements of survival, like tools and food.

As opposed to the last post, I can see here my attempt to tighten up the art style-- Still very detailed, but not SO much of an overabundance to where I just keep drawing and drawing and I don't know where to stop. That was another lesson that took me a long time to learn, was learning to moderate how much time and detail to put.

No problem, you give me a lot to think about ^^ PT? I'll def be keeping an eye out for him then XD

LMAO! Yeah I do like how the description of his condition with the hooks was put together, i'd love to repurpose it!

YEAH you can see the transition from completely wild to tame here! And omg that's amazing you recognized the silhouette! xD It is actually the same character from the last draft! The bandaged man's name is PT! He'll also be in the story! I do feel like with each new draft there's more and more thoughtfulness in trying to "hook" the reader, like, looking through these I can see the lessons I had learned with each one, and I'm thrilled to hear you appreciated that!! You're too kind to take the time and write out your thoughts and read my drafts critically, that's really cool of you thank you MSource 8u8/"

AWE lmao it's okay, he'll be fine!

Omg a mystery take right off the bat! I admit I read this a little faster than the other drafts because I'm a sucker for introductions that throw you right into a question that can hopefully give you the answer the sooner you turn the page lol This definitely feels closer to your style now in how much you utilize the white space and I love it! Where from the first draft it had a heavy use of black to highlight the extravagant details this here is a pretty elegant execution on more expression via character in comparison to surroundings. The hook in the muscles though geez, I felt sympathy pain every time MC moved. His prosthetics are lovely (as anything bone related you draw is lmao) but that beauty really does it's job by hiding the ugliness of the cost from using them. I am very curious what the betrayal was and why it resulted in him losing limbs but getting them replaced rather than outright losing his life. It comes across like there's a deeper meaning behind it rather than maliciousness. Why give him a chance to live and be able bodied later if it was an action purely motivated by cruelty? Also the silhouette reminds me of the bandaged man from the previous draft that was feeding Sanzu rice idk why lol (I really liked that character design) I'm curious too for MC's backstory here because he comes across not like he was raised wild anymore but rather came from man. His tears ahhh poor baby <333
