Development Update! October Project!

Good Monday, everyone!

As promised, I’m excited to share the progress I've made on the new October project! This update will give you a glimpse into what I’ve been working on and the direction I’m taking with the game. I know many of you are eager to try the demo, and I appreciate your patience. While I originally planned to release it sooner, I want to make sure Day One is fully developed before I do so. It’s still a work in progress, and I have a few more elements to refine before it’s ready for your hands. Once that’s complete, I’ll upload the demo, and I can't wait to hear your feedback and thoughts!

Before diving into the details, take a moment to check out the screenshots attached, as they relate to what I’ll be discussing below:

The Main Menu:
Simplicity is key here, but with a twist! The central image in the menu changes each time you refresh it, and yes, some of those images are… well, let’s say quite suggestive 😏. It adds a little variety each time you return to the menu. Oh, and the game’s official title is Teacher's Trap—I’ll let you guess why! 😉

The Map:
I’ve opted for a straightforward, clean approach. Instead of the typical icons, you’ll find images of the locations you can visit. This should make it easier to visually recognize where you need to go. It’s all about making navigation feel intuitive and seamless.

The UI:
When you’re exploring different locations, you’ll notice two bars—one at the top and one at the bottom. Both can be extended and retracted whenever you like. The top bar keeps things functional, showing your money, the time and day, the map, and your phone. Meanwhile, the bottom bar lists all available locations, allowing you to jump directly to where you need to go without hassle.

The Intro & Art:
The remaining images are a little sneak peek at the introduction, showcasing some of the characters and the overall art style. I’ve put a lot of thought into the visual direction, and I hope you’ll love the way these elements bring the story to life.

I’m really excited for you to see where this project is heading, and your feedback will be invaluable as we move forward. Stay tuned for the demo, and thank you for being such an amazing community!
