I'm US Army in Poland and started watching your vids on Youtube and have loved them. I would contribute to your movie, but apparently VPN is not doing well with PayPal. Regardless, your description of how you felt after re-enacting Pickett's Charge... yeah. They did it for their buddies, which in the end, is why every soldier does what he (she) does.

It's a common thread, but I believe the opening battle of "Glory" does a good, not great job of depicting the horror and panic of this war. Violence, blood, fear, limbs, (the head explosion), etc., all ring true for the Civil War. Naturally the shot is only 2+ minutes, but Gettysburg, which I love, doesn't have a similar scene.
