Anubis Hood for Scrap Yard Leather

This hood I have been dreading and been excited for all year. This included a number of factors that were completely new to me and required extensive research and trial and error to figure out. It even got to a point where it was completely done and then a bit of super glue got on my thumb, then onto one of the fans, leaving a very noticeable thumbprint. This made me lose a days work or more as I had to take apart, recut, punch and sew the most complicated stitch work I’ve ever done by hand. Needless to say, my fingers were well chewed up by the end of it. I am very pleased with the results though! It looks fantastic and regal, it has a strong silhouette and the fans don’t annoyingly touch your shoulders when wearing it. This hood is going to be sent off to its owner in Australia shortly and it’s gonna be very hard to part with it. Almost makes me want to make another one just for myself... almost. Let’s at least let my fingers heal first :p
