2021-09-18 01:13:30 +0000 UTCThere is a part of the episode that was cut from the show during the discussion between Klaus and Marcel. Basically after Marcel says maybe the scars ran too deep, he tells Klaus that he remembers him once telling him that seeking revenge against his father wouldn’t silence his demons, but only make him a tyrant just like him. Marcel didn’t listen to him and after being turned, he compelled his father to cut out his own heart, and never told Klaus, but Klaus told him that he suspected it was him all along. After Marcel wonders why Klaus a “Tyrant of no mercy” was asking him to show mercy to his hateful father. And Klaus’s response was “because that is the kind of lesson a true father should teach his son” I really wish they would have kept this is because I feel like it really deepens there father son relationship rather then giving a brothers type of relationship.
