Just saw the movie. Very well intentioned and executed movie. Great acting and dialogues. However, it is nothing like OMG 1. There is no dialogue here between the God and the protagonist. The presence of Akshay (God) is only a plot device in service of the main theme of the movie. Akshay's screen presence does not total upto more than 10 min i think. The theme of the movie may seem tame to even some in India let alone you guys. Also one has to shut one's mind to the 'court room setting'. Absurd things (spoilerish hence won't say here) happen if one is focussed on them playing out in a court room. However, if one focusses on what and how things are being said then it is great cinema. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

2023-08-04 04:03:54 +0000 UTCOne Censor Board driven change can be seen in first scene of the trailer itself where Lord Shiva is instructing Nandi to send one of his followers (Shiv-gan) to help Pankaj. Clearly the makers wanted Akshay to manifest LOrd Shiva himself rather than one of his followers. However this is a superficial one doesn't really impact anything. Another change was apparently changing the name of Pankaj's city Ujjain (real one) to a fictitious one and so on
