I've been seeing this redraw everywhere at the moment and wanted to join in.
I've been having a little trouble with motivation to draw lately, so this was a nice little redraw to just pass me over whilst I am taking a little break to recharge creatively. I drew the second image and after finishing really wasn't happy with the result.
It's always a bit disconcerting when that happens, I normally feel it around colouring but decide to push through as it may get better - but this time it wasn't lol. I could tell by the end there were lots of things wrong. The face shape, her hair and the colours were all just a bit off. I also knew I could do better and was probably just rushing this to get it done.
So the next night I tried again, and too my time and tried to enjoy it rather than rush to get it done. And...it came out A LOT better (surprise surprise).
