Patreon and the new Pledge Policy
Added 2017-12-10 11:06:16 +0000 UTCYou may have heard about Patreon's plan to change the way it handles processing pledges and fees. I don't like it. Nobody likes it. Patreon made a really big mistake with this decision.
Unfortunately, there is currently no alternative to Patreon at the moment. No one else is running a patron-based service, especially not one that would allow the type of content I create. I've heard about one being in the works but, for now, Patreon is my only option.
As soon as an alternative exists, I will sign up with that service as well so that you, my wonderful patrons, can choose whichever service you prefer.
Honestly, I probably would have being doing that anyway. The Patreon policy change just makes that plan more urgent.
