Apartment Makeover ✨ Creating an Office & Studio
Added 2020-09-01 15:10:01 +0000 UTCWoo! For those of you who joined the August Livestream the other day, or watched the recording (available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vr3GMziPXo) I mentioned someone would be coming over to set up my new furniture!
I ordered a new desk for the living room (to replace where my TV used to be, don't use it much anyways) and I'm setting up a little filming studio in the extra bedroom! I'm still waiting for a few more pieces for the studio, they won't arrive until later in month. But so far I'm happy with how it's shaping up ☺️ It's so nice to finally have a proper working area. I usually just sit on my bed or the sofa and edit, but it's pretty bad for my posture 😅I'll be working a lot more now with Neko Neko Post running so I thought it would be worth it to invest in a proper set up!
Can't believe I ordered a blue sofa for the studio, this is very unlike me haha. Don't think I've ever owned anything blue in my life. I thought it looked really bright and cheerful though! I've been saving up little blue and bronze accessories to put on the shelves beside it when they finally arrive, I think it'll look really nice when it's all finished!

Definitely bad posture! Hopefully you'll feel less aches and pains with the new setup. Will be interesting to see how you get on having office in a more central area of your home and if you feel it's harder to turn off. I know some people need a separate space that they don't see whereas myself, I'm pretty good at doing work wherever and knowing when its me vs work time.
