Sorry for not posting much this past month, I've been having a rough time health-wise and having trouble keeping up with my videos and posts😭 Just went for some extensive blood work at my thyroid clinic a few days ago, so I'm hoping they find out what the issue is and can help me out.

Chris and I did manage to make it out for a little road trip to Aomori at the end of September though, I'm currently editing that vlog 👀
I had yet to explore a few key spots in Aomori prefecture, so we thought with summer finally winding down now would be the perfect time to do it!
We stayed the night at one of my top 3 favourite ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel) - Aomoriya.
I love how they've designed the place - it's matsuri (festival) themed! Aomori is famous for the Nebuta festival, so the hotel is decorated with hundreds of lanterns to represent that.
In the morning we headed out to the very top of Aomori prefecture to see Osorezan - literally "Fear Mountain", haha. It sounds like something out of a morning cartoon from when I was a kid. The weather was perfect, and the rice fields were turning golden yellow. Perfect road trip conditions :)
Turns out Fear Mountain is actually quite beautiful! Don't want to give too much away, so I'll save most of it for the video ;)
