Our thoughts about the release:
Dezy had a lot of work to do, balancing creating both pixel art, finishing Nora and creating the scenes, but she really enjoyed doing it. She is really hoping you will like what she created!
We really wanted to put out the first village as it's the perfect place to stop for a bit. We only have a few things to do there for now but later we will update it with a lot more activities.
This release turned out to be a lot more lighthearted, mainly because of Nora, in the future we would like to stick to a more mystical theme with the game, but her character will be great to lighten the mood.
I'm really hoping there will be no game breaking bugs in this release. -Nis
The future and the next update:
With a next few updates we are aiming for smaller and quicker releases, taking about 2-3 weeks each. Each release will be targeting a specific part of the game, like combat, implementation of character upgrades, or implementation of lighting etc. in no particular order.
We will be adding new characters and stories while doing this, and at least 1 new CG for each release.
We will keep you updated about the progress, and if you have any questions we are happy to answer!
