LTX Wrap Up + Videos for August 1st - 6th

I just finished up at LTX, here's the update - but first, the videos coming this week:

As for LTX, well it was awesome and I had a great time.

Unfortunately for you, this means that I didn't really take enough random video on my phone to justify a dedicated video, but I'll upload random stuff along with this post that I did get.

Everything after the LMG sign is from the office tour we just did tonight. There was about 50 content creators there checking out. From my perspective it was cool to look at stuff like lighting/cameras/mics/set layout to see how the sausage is made and what sort of things I could improve on. One of the sets actually uses the same camera and mic as me, so I guess I'm doing something right 😄

There was a room for the staff/creator guests to chill in, and I probably spent most of the time in there. It was the main reason I wanted to go to LTX, because normally during CES/Computex I never get to actually meet up with anyone doing similar stuff to me on this Internet machine as everyone is busy running to the next place to make their content. It was a nice change to take it easier and just meet a bunch of cool people.

I made my own purple screw drvier which was cool. Went to the keyboard booth where they had about 20 keyboards with different switches, I've been wanting to update from my 15 year old Cherry browns and being able to try a bunch out in one spot and compare was nice.

I ran into a few fans which was cool, didn't really think anyone would recognize me but turns out I was wrong there 😅

I'm heading to sleep now to recover, I fly back home in about 24 hours from when this post goes live, and then it takes almost another 24 hours for me to actually get home, so still quite a journey ahead of me.
