I finished the first CPU comparison yesterday so it's ready to go. The Blade 17 is all recorded and filmed so I'll be editing that today and hopefully finishing it before doing a 2nd channel 5i Pro video.
While that's going we've got some more G14 testing going for a video next week to see what the difference is with and without the DDR5 SODIMM stick installed. The ASUS Scar 15 is also being tested, hopefully review of that next week if all goes well.
The ASUS M16 and MSI GP66 are next up on our priority list of machines to test, we'll probably start on the M16 Wednesday and the GP66 not too long after. Otherwise still have the Aero 16 and Aorus 17 to work through.
Gigabyte might be able to provide a DDR5 version of the DDR4 Aorus 17 that I've already got, so will be interesting to do a fair DDR4 vs 5 comparison in both games and applications if that can happen. They've confirmed both models have the same i7-12700H CPU but I'm not sure if the GPU is the same and ideally I want that to include gaming.
I also started the initial benchmarks on the RX 6850M XT with the XG Mobile + Z13 yesterday, though had a few issues with games not opening. Not sure if it's just because the games originally opened and configured with Nvidia graphics and now it's Radeon so I'll try reinstalling them to work that out. It's a bit if a weird one, I can't just remove the Nvidia drivers entirely because they are needed for the internal 3050 Ti. This means it needs Intel, AMD and Nvidia graphics drivers installed all at once - what could go wrong!
