This week I wanted to post an update to the train pic, and some quick stone ocean redraws!!
For the train pic, I think this is the longest I’ve taken to finish a pic...usually if I’m that into something I’m drawing it’ll only take a day or two to finish but this one is closing in on a week!! Granted, I’ve been working on it between commissions so slow progress is to be expected;; It also doesn’t help that ive been kind of looser with my art lately. Usually I try to make sketches as clean as possible before jumping into the final to save me headaches but recently I’ve just been diving head in. Dunno if that’s a good thing or a bad thing tho LOL.
As for the Jolyne’s, I’ve always wanted to redraw those two pics because I thought it’d be lots of fun!! And it is!! Araki’s palettes are always so interesting, it’s been a welcome challenge playing around with them while also trying to keep them similar. Plus it feels good to not worry so much about composition when someone else has done it for you 👀💦
I think that’s about it!! See you next week!! I’m gonna go play harvest moon until I pass out 🏃♀️
