Ep.11 Update + Recasting

Hey all. I figured we should share this update now rather than later.

Due to circumstances that will remain private, we need to recast our Quatre. We're thankful for all the work Egamar has done and were really excited about his performances so far for ep.11, but he will no longer be able to perform for us and had not finished recording for this episode. We wish him all the best, but the show must go on.

As such, we'll recast Quatre in the near future and re-record all of his parts for this episode. Unfortunately, this will push ep.11 of MSAGW back for however long it takes to find the right voice and schedule recordings, BUT! This also presents an opportunity:

Since we knew this could be a possibility for awhile, and Quatre is the lead character for this episode, we've actually written ahead just in case and have finished the scripts for both ep.12 and ep.13. For the rest of February, we're going to record every actor available for the next three episodes, and I'll be working back and forth on all three as recordings become available.

This means that while ep.11 may be delayed, the wait time for the next three episodes in a row will be quite short, assuming there aren't any schedule conflicts with our actors. Ep.11 is about 70% finished right now. The heavy lifting is finished, all major visual edits are complete, and about half of the episode's scenes are, like, finished finished, minus Egamar's old recordings that will now need to be replaced. If we had all lines recorded today, I could have the episode released before the end of February no problem.

We'll keep you all up to date on our recasting process and share a public casting call soon. Tomorrow I'll start preliminary work on ep.12 while we schedule actors and put out feelers for a Quatre replacement. I'm really excited about what we've scripted. I think you're going to love it.
