Jean wiping his hand on Connie was also a gag, Eren slapped his hand outta the air when he offered it as an apology. Then when he complimented Mikasa’s hair, he heard Eren tell her it was too long and she should cut it and she was like “okay sure I guess I’ll cut it” so he wiped his hand on Connie’s shirt, and idk why they translated it like that, what he answers Connie is basically “my faith in humanity” because he’s jealous that such a dickhead like Eren can just go say something to Mikasa and she listened to him but barely even said thanks for the compliment to him hahah. Anime does that sometimes where they just over exaggerate stuff for comic relief. Really very rare in this series and I don’t think it happens much so I wanted to let y’all know that no, you don’t gotta worry about Sasha being anything other than hungry lol
