Oh my god I think I just now after fifteen years and at least 80 rewatches have realized the significance of Zuko seeing himself in the mirror as Aang and I’m not saying SHIT until I can lol

2021-07-29 15:57:15 +0000 UTCThings I enjoyed about this episode: 1. The action sequence in the beginning of the episode 2. Finding out how sheltered the King is. This largely mirrored what happened in Ancient China, when a regent was selected to rule China on behalf of the child emperors. 3. Zuko’s fevered dreams. I like how when he woke up from the dream he had where he was Aang, he immediately touched his scare to confirm reality. He was actually a little relief. 4. The plot twists and cliffhangers at the end of the episodes. The next episode is one of my absolute favorite! Can’t wait for you guys to watch it!
