Maybe you can become civilian consultants, who dress up in suits and play with the evidence and flirt with the suspects :D "Officers, our solving rate is impressive! When we watch Lucifer we almost always figure out who has done it in the first 5 minutes of the show! And we've watched all seasons of Sherlock. So we are - at this point- pretty much detectives ourselves!"

2021-12-07 20:49:46 +0000 UTCMaze broke up with Amanadiel- so it's definitely got nothing to do with her still having feelings for him. For Maze it's about the “betrayal”. And you are absolutely right, if you view this whole conflict from a human-perspective Maze is totally overreacting at this point. Linda apologized multiple times, she broke it off with Amanadiel, she told Maze that their friendship means everything to her. So there isn't anything left for Linda to do. She did her “penance”. And I think every person would agree. BUT Maze is NOT human. She didn't grow up on earth with all those complex human emotions. All this is completely new to her. She lived millennia in hell- that's all she really knows and judging by what little glimpses we got about hell and demons, this isn't a place where you have friendships or any relationships really. Their only objective is to torture. They derive pleasure from causing pain. And this is the first time that Maze has made a connection with someone. She kind of made herself vulnerable and opened up to Linda. And now Linda has lied to her. Sneaking around behind her back. And Maze simply doesn't know how to deal with this. I can only imagine that if in hell another one of the demons had done sth to cross Maze she would have probably killed it on the spot, without hesitation. So I kind of get it. And I feel bad for Maze. (And of course I feel bad for Linda. It's a really messed up situation :D )
