To help clarify to y’all, they mentioned back in ep 13 or 14 that Zeke can turn subjects of ymir that have ingested his spinal fluid and even in human form and it’s because he has royal blood. I’m sure someone without royal blood that would inherit the beast titan couldn’t do it. Zekes special power is that he can turn them into titans if they have ingested his spinal fluid and it works differently since he has royal blood. But nobody with Marley knows he has royal blood, that’s why pieck was asking eren if Zeke had a special power that only he knew which is that. Pieck was also wondering why eren wasn’t using the founding titan and it’s bc he can’t unless he comes to contact with Zeke who is royal blood and I think pieck was putting it together then eren can’t control the founder without Zeke.
