So from the way I understand it and have had it explained to me is this: God and the Goddess were cosmic beings and they created their own universe together. They existed outside of their universe and didn’t have a physical form. When they created/had the angels they decided to give them their own physical forms. The angels never existed outside of the universe that God and the Goddess created. As for God, I don’t know if he could create his own form or not. I assume he is powerful enough and I don’t know if a human could contain his divinity. It didn’t hold for long for the Goddess. Also I thought it was funny how they made Maze into a huge buff guy. It’s exactly what the fire nation did to Toph in ATLA in that play 😂
