it’ll make sense boys :) great reaction as always! so sad we’re getting close to the end, on the last couple episodes i’ll really start trying to explain your guys questions if you still need them answered, but the show does pretty good at tying everything up. cant wait for more!

2022-09-28 04:05:26 +0000 UTCBTW I thought the Amenadiel storyline was great and loved the call backs to season 5 with Caleb. The final scene with Amenadiel realising that this job he thought he could do as a 'human' cop was going to be far harder than he thought emotionally as well as practically, seeing the look on Chloe's face when she saw the file on Detective Riben and possibly other rascist and corrupt cops was powerful. Having it all tied in with that lovely song where hopefully Luci and Rory can find some common ground was all very emotional. I did wonder how Chloe will be able to help though at this stage. You both know the answer now but when you watched this episode, I know you wondered the same.

As to Rory being angry and being in Hell... it was because she was so angry with her absent father abandoning her at a particular moment in time- as I saw it- her anger caused her to time travel back to kill him. She didn't plan it but when it happened she set out to sort it out in her own way. (A determined girl and very much her Father's daughter!) She would have known where she was, she grew up in that area and I doubt it has changed that much in the years she has grown. She went to hell to seek out Michael if you recall and then went to look for Lucifer. Her abandonment has festered so much to create what she feels now. I feel sorry for Luci who has no idea why and how this could have happened. I loved this story line, loved seeing Luci and Chloe in a new situation as parents together with a troubled daughter and the fear that now they were finally really together as a couple and a team something was going to happen soon to possibly destroy that. Also seeing how Luci was experienced being in the situation with a daughter similar to how he felt abandoned by his father... round it goes full circle for his character...so much emotion, confusion, hurt and drama. I know as you read this, you already have the answers you seek but this is how I felt about it all at this stage of the season. I was scared too about why Luci had been gone from her life and although she must know things about her father ( I couldn't believe Chloe, or Maze or Eve etc wouldn't have talked about him) the hurt of his apparent abandonment would supersede anything else she was told- or at least that's how I saw it. In fact, I felt it would make it all the more painful for Rory to hear that Luci loved Chloe... they were a great partnership (she knew that as she mentioned it in episode 5) and how funny Luci was, all the good things he did etc etc and all Rory would think is- 'I don't care because he didn't love me enough to not abandon me!' Why Chloe hadn't told her the truth about why Luci left if she knew, really worried me at this point. Like you, I wondered why Rory was never told whatever that truth was... well, no spoilers for those who have yet to finish this season with you, but I will say, I was stunned, amazed, excited and satisfied by all that is to come. Looking forward to finishing this amazing Show with you...on to episode 7!
