I appreciate the message at the end there. So many people do not get what bullying does to a person. It is years and years of psychological torture forming your self-image at the most important and impressionable years of ones life. Even if a person seems to get over it and even if they don't end up acting on it... do not mistake that for no consequences. It can and does affect one for decades. Kids will be kids, but the adults won't teach them any better, so it is their fault to an even larger degree. Even today that has a thousand times better conditions as when I went to school, people have huge trouble understanding just how much damage it can do to a person. "Killing their heart" is a good description.
