Recently joined your Patreon and appreciated your reaction to this excellent show. If you haven't read it, the most accurate written account I'm aware of (having read quite a few) is Midnight In Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham. It's very much worth reading. I don't think the full extent of the mismanagement & flaws at all levels was really known until quite recently - within the last 10 years.

This is just one of many phenomenal historical mini series that HBO has made. If you enjoyed this one, you should check out Band of Brothers if you haven’t already seen it. I personally think its one if not the best miniseries ever and while it was made over 20 years ago, it still holds up amazingly well
