I would love to know what you thought about his actual proposal to Aziraphale. do you think it was exactly what Aziraphale told Crowley, or was it more along the lines of "give me coffee or give me death" - you can either accept the position, or I can delete your name from the Book of Life. the fandom seems to not believe Aziraphale's "unreliable narrator" retelling of their conversation... I have the feeling that Neil left us enough clues for at least a few more months :D

Hopefully Amazon will greenlight season 3, but sadly it probably won't be until after the strikes. When asked recently, Neil Gaiman said that if it wasn't for the strikes he would have been expecting to be turning in the first draft of episode 6 around now. Sadly he's had to put it aside, but did say that he's written the first episode and the end of the last (in case he was hit by a bus). He also said they will get their good ending. We book fans remember Gaiman and Pratchett saying many years ago that Crowley & Aziraphale end up sharing a cottage in the South Downs, so hopefully that's what we'll get in the show too.

2023-08-23 16:01:12 +0000 UTCin case you didn't get this background: this season 2 was just a bridge between the published book (S01) and the second book (S03) that Neil and Terry discussed but never got to write. so this season was almost entirely Neil and it was intended to just get us where we need to be for the story that he and Terry came up with. so there WILL be a S03, even if it needs to be just a book. Neil has promised that, if Amazon doesn't pick up the show for S03, he will write the book and publish that. so the story will see the light of day and the fandom cannot wait ^^ I am off to watch your reaction now ^^
