2023-05-14 16:30:05 +0000 UTCTotally agree the movie is the way to go! If I were you though, I’d actually start with the first episode of the second series and then watch the movie. It’s a super helpful intro to a new character and wasn’t included in the movie.

Giyu and Tanjiro both use Water Breathing, yes Urokodaki taught both of them. Water Breathing officially has 10 forms - but Giyu used an 11th form, which he created himself (I think this is glossed over in the anime). The girl with Kochou that also had the butterfly hairpin was at final selection with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. Interesting detail: half of Giyu's haori (jacket) is the same pattern as Sabito's kimono (the dead kid who trained Tanjiro at the boulder).

2023-05-14 05:26:50 +0000 UTCI recommend watching Ep 1 of season 2, then watch the movie. Ep 1 is an intro episode for our next major character that you would completely miss if you do the movie followed by the arc starting at Ep 8, without watching Ep 1.

2023-05-13 22:28:01 +0000 UTC2 episodes lets gooooo btw. after season 1 they released the next arc as a movie and afterwards also released it in episodes, i highly recommend watching the "mugen train arc" as a movie instead of the episodes for better immersion 🙂
